The Migration Wizard and the earlier client-to-target-application-server migration approaches can move models from a specific schema in a source environment to a schema of the same Data Mart instance Name in another environment. Migration does not work between mart instances with different Names. You must set up corresponding mart instances in different environments with the same value in the Name field in the Define Database Connection dialog box. If you assign different names to corresponding instances in different environments, you can correct the names later, since you can edit the Name field even after data is built in the instance.
