From the Portfolio Data Center's Monitor workspace, you can view the Automation Center's monitoring of all PDC processes and events without leaving Portfolio Data Center. You can monitor the status and execution summary and details of all Portfolio Data Center events and jobs.

To view the status of Portfolio Data Center events and jobs:

  1. In Portfolio Data Center, from the left navigation, click Portfolio Desk > Monitor.
    By default, you see the Monitor workspace with the Events status results filtered for Portfolio Data Center event type.
  2. Click the chevron  next to the Search icon.
    You see the Search detail pane with the default fields to define your search.
  3. Click the Add icon  to add other search parameters.
  4. Provide the required search criteria for the events/jobs that you want to view and click Search.
    You see the detailed information about the events/jobs in the middle pane. For example, select Portfolio Data Center in Event type list to view PDC events and Jobs event type to view PDC jobs.
  5. In the bottom left pane, click the ListScheduleDependencies, and SLA tabs to view the log messages, schedules, dependencies, and service level agreement statuses, respectively. 
    You can review the details of the respective tab in the bottom right pane.
  6. To drill down the job details, select a job event type in the middle pane.
    You can see the corresponding job details in the bottom pane.
  7. In the bottom left pane, click the ListRun DetailsScheduleDependencies, and SLA tabs to view additional details about the processed job. For example, in the Run Details tab, you can view the job effective date, actual start/stop times, queue ID information, and the submitting source.
  8. Click Open in full pane mode  to open the Job Execution Details page to view the execution details for the processed PDC job.
