In this section, you will learn how to manage and run jobs in the Jobs workspace. You can create and manage jobs and specify options for each job type. Jobs may be customized to have any combination of events. To schedule and monitor jobs, access the Schedule and Monitor workspaces, respectively.
Automation Center supports the following job types:
Basic jobs. Run the sequence of events and jobs in a specified order.
Dynamic jobs. Use initiators to determine the entities, dates, and sources that have to be processed. Initiators examine the configuration of each associated job to determine which jobs are affected by the most recent data changes.
Static jobs. Run a set of entities as of a certain date or range of dates. The static job type is used for batch processing where the entities and dates are known.
