For events that can only be scheduled and monitored in Automation Center, the Duplicate option is unavailable. If you double click the event that cannot be copied, a dialog box is displayed stating that you can only maintain this event in the event's respective Center. Click OK in the dialog box.
To copy an event to create a new event:
- In Automation Desk, click Events in the left navigation.
- Click the Find button to find an event in the workspace or search for an event based on specific criteria.
- Click to select the event you wish to copy and click Duplicate.
- Enter a new event name and click OK.
- Click OK in the copy confirmation dialog box.
All the details from the original event are copied to the new event.
