Enrichments provide customers with the option to apply a price other than a vendor-provided price to a security. Enrichments are assigned to data strategies by customers after they have been created.
Eagle pricing has the following enrichment types:
- Use fixed price
- Derive price using a formula
- Derive price using security’s price
- Derive price using an index’s movement
- Derive price using underlying security
To set up pricing enrichments:
- From the Setup workspace, click Price Enrichments in the left navigation.
You see the Price Enrichments workspace with the list of available Pricing Enrichments. - Click Create New and select the enrichment type from the drop-down list. Options include:
– Use fixed price
– Derive price using a formula
– Derive price using security's price
– Derive price using an index's movement
– Derive price using underlying security

Define the Enrichment
All price enrichments have the same definition setup features. You can define an enrichment by name, start and end date and description.
To define the enrichment:
- In the Name text box, enter a name for the enrichment.
- In the Description text box, optionally enter a description of the enrichment
- The Data Type field defaults to Price.
- Click Next.
You see the Details page.
Specify the Enrichment Details
In the Enrichment Details page you can define the security and/or holdings criteria.
To specify the enrichment details:
- Click Define for Security Selection Criteria and use the Logic Builder to define the security filter that defines the subset of securities processed by the data strategy.
- Enter the Fixed Price for the enrichment. This is the price you want applied by the enrichment in the field.

Define the Details
In the Sources page you can select a pre-defined source hierarchy rule.
- Select a rule from the Source Rule drop-down list.
You see the source hierarchy rules displayed in the space below. - Click Next.
You see the Field Group page.
Select the Field Groups
In the Fields page you can select a field group that contains your intended composite field. RDC uses field groups which is the reason why a group is chosen even one there is only one composite field.
To select field groups for the data strategy:
- Select the Field Groups from the drop-down list.
You see the field group details displayed in the space below. - To require that a field group be Authorization Required, click the corresponding checkbox.
- Click Next.
You see the Enrichments page.
