About the Reference Data Center

The Reference Data Center is a powerful solution for centralizing and managing security reference data for better accuracy, auditing, and reporting. The Reference Data Center composites, validates, and cleanses security reference data from external vendors and internal sources, creating one or more gold copies that downstream systems can leverage. Packaged content — data strategies, fields / field groups, validations, reports — is defined by Eagle and bundled with the product to reduce implementation timelines and eliminate the dependency on release cycles.

With the Reference Data Center, you can: 

• Search for securities and exceptions

• View and edit securities

• View and edit security detail information

• Override and release exceptions

• View and edit overrides

• Authorize and reject overrides

• Audit manual changes to securities and exceptions

• Create and delete securities

• Create a legal entity

• Attach documents and comments to securities

• Generate reports of reference data and the associated audit information

You can manage your access to Reference Data Center by assigning permissions in the User Administration area of the System Management Center.
