Info

This page describes part 2 of 6 in the fund of funds allocation process. The process includes 1) creating fund of funds processing ID, 2) retrieving staging data, 3) processing reinvestment activity, 4) calculating cash flow, 5) calculating fund of funds allocations, and 6) generating pending trades.

In the second part of the fund of funds allocation process, the system retrieves the staging table. It retrieves all the data that is essential in calculating the final cash flow from other tables within the Eagle database and stores it on staging tables. It uses this data to determine the cash flow amount to allocate and the percentages with which to allocate the cash. The system retrieves net asset value and capital stock activity from the NAV table. It retrieves cash balances from the ledger tables. And it retrieves target percentages and asset class types from the FOF_UM_MAPPING table.
