In the Commitment Adjustment/Capital Call panel, after you book the initial position for private equity, you can adjust the commitment amount you initially set. You can book a commitment adjustment transaction for private equity to increase or decrease the commitment amount. When you select the Commitment Adjustment transaction (LPCOMMIT event), you adjust the commitment amount, and you can create cash/ledger entries for a Commitment Adjustment transaction if you enter the Net Amount. This affects the Capital Call Amount, which, in turn, affects Unfund/Funded Amounts. This LPCOMMIT event is part of the Capital Based Fund Investment workflow when you set up a private equity security with a processing security type of Capital Based Fund Investment (EQCBFI).
