After you establish a private equity position based on the Capital Based Fund Investment workflow, you can use Position Viewer to view the position.
When you select the Cost Position tab for the Cost position:
You can view the base/local Funded Commitment and Unfunded Commitment amounts calculated for the position.
When you select the Open Lots tab for the Cost position:
You see a single lot for the private equity position. That lot aggregates information for all transactions for initial funding, commitment adjustments, capital calls, cash distributions, and so on.
The Units (tag 40) value is always 1.00.
The Original Face (tag 41) value is equal to the Commitment (tag 16086) value.
When you select the Open Adjustments tab for the Cost position:
You see multiple rows for the private equity position. You see individual rows for initial funding, commitment adjustments, capital calls, cash distributions, and so on.
