The Scheduler is a powerful report and task-scheduling tool used with both Eagle PACE and Eagle STAR components. You can use the Scheduler to:
- Run events such as reports or tasks at specific or variable pre-programmed times.
- Run events as dependency of another scheduled event, statistic or code value.
- Administer time-dependent processes such as income accruals.
- Set up a specific portfolio or group of portfolio reports to be automatically generated and delivered: daily, weekly, or monthly.
- Distribute reports based upon user-defined distribution channels such as Portal, email, FTP, File Copy or Print.
- Set the storage location and viewer for previously run reports.
The Scheduler contains ten windows for different Scheduler tasks, each with a corresponding access button across the top. Before setting up a schedule, you must create a Data Entry Profile. Once you have setup a Data Entry Profile, you create a calendar and define days and time zones. After you create the calendar, you design a schedule and link it back to the calendar. Schedules can be run against Process Centers, Conversion Status or an Entity List.
