In the Accounting Center's Position workspace, you can use the Position Viewer tool to research all types of positions in Eagle's accounting solution
To access the Position Viewer tool:
- From any Eagle window, click the Eagle Navigator button to access the Eagle Navigator.
- Enter Position Viewer in the Start Search text box.
- Click the Position Viewer (Accounting Center) link to access the Position Viewer tool.
You see the Position workspace.
When you access the Position Viewer tool, you see the Position workspace. This workspace allows you to query cost, cash, and income accounting data in the Cost Object, Cash object, and Income object.
The Position workspace includes a Search Details pane, a grid pane, and a Reports pane. In the Search Details pane, you can query position data for one portfolio, one portfolio for one security, or all portfolios. The query results appear in the workspace grid. When you execute a query, the Position grid displays a list of positions that match the query criteria you entered in the Search Details pane. The bottom part of the workspace Reports pane displays the Cost, Cash, Income, (and Wash Sale Adjustment, if appropriate) tabs for viewing data related to a specific position.
