In the Run Retrospective Amortization panel, you can calculate amortization retrospectively or prospectively. You can run amortization by entity/accounting basis or entity/basis/security at the position or tax lot level.
To run amortization processing:
- In Accounting Center, in the left navigation pane, click Processing & Exceptions > Global Processes > Earnings > Run Retrospective Amortization.
You see the Run Retrospective Amortization panel. - Choose the entities and securities for which you want to run amortization.
- Complete the remaining options on the Run Retrospective Amortization panel.
- Click Submit.
