In the Global Process Center, you see a list of global processes and their status. For example, if the accrual process (Event Type = EARN) has been run for an account, the Global Process Center displays the status of the requested job and the number of successfully processed and failed messages.
The left side of the Global Process Center window displays a list of all of the global processes or jobs in Eagle's Accounting solution.
Open the Factor Processing folder and select Factor. You see the Factor panel.
The Select Query Option field determines whether each global process is run for One Entity/One Security, One Entity/All Securities, All Entities/One Security, or All Entities/All Securities.
If you select any of the All Entities options, the Process Center field is displayed. This field runs the global process only for accounts assigned to the process center.
If you select any of the One Entity or One Security options, the Global Process Center displays the following fields, which require you to enter the entity or security:
■ Region. Runs the global process for a select group of securities that are classified by a customized region code.
■ Process Security Type. Runs the maturity process for the group of securities with the specified process security type.
■ Domestic/Foreign Processing Indicator. Runs the global process when the local currency of the future is not equal to the base currency of the selected entity. Or, runs the global process when the local currency is equal to the base currency. Use this option if you want to hold off maturing securities until they have current day foreign exchange rates. In his situation, domestic securities are matured at the beginning of the day since they are not dependent on foreign exchange rates.
Additional fields include the following:
■ Dates. Specifies an accounting date or date range. Most of the global processes can be run for a specific accounting date or date range.
■ Batch Fetch Limit. Specifies the total number of positions based on the Select Query Option field. The default is 200. You can modify this value.
