Automation Center 2017 release product drivers are operational efficiency, security, and scalability.

The release package contains the following items:

  • Accounting Event Manager definition.

          Accounting Event Manager events can now be created and managed in Automation Center.

          This enhancement can be tracked under issue #132099.

  • Migration Wizard and Cart.

          Migration functionality has been integrated with Automation Center. You can now select and export Events, Jobs, and their schedules as well as SLAs from Automation Center's main ribbon. You can also add these items to the Cart and migrate. We             now support ability to monitor migration process and view audit information.

          This enhancement can be tracked under issue #115438 and 137985.

  • Monitor Loopbacks.

          We now have a new Loopbacks workspace in Automation Center which replaces the Global Process Monitor and provides several new features including, query loopbacks by all partitions, ability to query loopbacks by multiple accounts and by                     multiple securities. Loopbacks security can be set in Automation Center Roles.

          This enhancement can be tracked under issue #132392. 

  • Message Streams integrated with Events.

          Message Streams are now one of the available event types and can be found as part of Events workspace. Events Ribbon was updated to include Message Stream specific actions. Unique column set is shown when filtering only by Message Stream           events.

          This enhancement can be tracked under issue #138176.

  • Setup options.

          The new Automation Center Setup area is accessible from the Left Navigation. Setup allows you to manage commonly used Automation Center elements, such as Date Rules and Sources, Business Calendars, Schedule Groups, Capacity, Schemas           and SLA.

          This enhancement can be tracked under issue #138946.

  • Feed Error processing.

          We now display feed errors that result from processing Data Upload and Data Export events in Exceptions. Feed errors can now be accessed and managed from the Exceptions workspace where you can efficiently monitor, organize, and resolve                   exceptions for data that has been rejected and sent to the repair queue.  

          This enhancement can be tracked under issue #133759.

  • Event type and event level permissions.

          User Administration has been updated to support event type and event level permissions. You can now grant run access to specific Event Types to individual users. 

          This enhancement can be tracked under issue #109352.

    • Business Calendar integration
    • Maintain Schemas integration
    • Error summary by Error Code in Exceptions
    • Removed access to Classic Components including STAR and Message Center
    • Support multiple upload files download
    • New Task History screen for Message Stream tasks
    • Display all schedules for a selected event
