In the Performance Effective Date (tag 12392) field, Eagle Accounting allows you to identify the effective date of certain transactions for performance measurement purposes. You can use this value for certain transactions that need to impact performance valuation and flows at a different date than they impact recordkeeping. When you provide a value for the Performance Effective Date field, the system stores it on both the Cost and Cash objects for both open and close events. The system also stores it in the STAR cash activity tables and the Eagle data warehouse cash activity and trade detail tables. The generic interfaces accept this field on income, trade, and cash activity files.
You can specify the performance effective date of a cash flow in the following panels:
- Add Cash Contribution panel
- Add Cash Withdrawal panel
- Add Misc. Expense - Position Level panel
