In the Cash Auto Match Trigger panel, you can match cash automatically based on actual cash settlements when you use cash segregation. Eagle's Accounting solution can automatically match actual cash settlement records, called bank settlements, sent to the Eagle system from a bank, custodian, or third party to receivables and payables created in Eagle's Accounting solution.
Automated catch matching is a global event that applies to all accounting entities. You can schedule the event associated with this panel to run on a regular basis.
To run Automated Cash Matching manually:
1.    From any Eagle window, click the Eagle Navigator button to access the Eagle Navigator.
2.    Enter Cash Auto Match Trigger in the Start Search text box.
3.    Click the Cash Auto Match Trigger (Accounting Center) link to access the panel.
You see the Cash Auto Match Trigger panel.
4.    In the Post Date field, select the post date for open receivables and payables to match.
You see a value of CASH_MATCHING_AUTO in the Event Type field.
5.    Click the Partition ID field and enter the source for the code value.
The default value is 1 (ESTAR).
After automated cash matching completes, you can use the Catch Matching module to manually match any remaining cash that was not successfully matched. And you can release unmatched settlement records into accounting into a default portfolio of the cash account, where it is allocated to suspense. See Match Cash Manually.
