Migration Wizard allows you to export and import migratable components from one environment to another.

To access Migration Wizard:

  1. From any Eagle window, click the Eagle Navigator button to access the Eagle Navigator.

  2. Enter Migration Wizard in the Start Search text box and click the Migration Wizard link. 
    You see the Migration Wizard opens with the Migration Desk workspace as default.

  3. To exit the Migration Wizard, click the Eagle Navigator button, hover over Sign Out and click Close Migration Wizard.

  4. To exit all Eagle programs, click the Eagle Navigator button, and then click Sign Out and then follow the prompts.

Understand the Migration Wizard Workspace

 The Home tab in the Migration Wizard workspace provides you with set of options to manage migration.

Export

Allows you to export the component from the environment



Import

Allows you to import the component into the environment

View

Logs

Allows you to view the logs of the migration



EGL

Allows you to view the .EGL file of an exported item

Distribution

Export

Exports the validation data displayed in the workspace to an Excel or CSV file



Print

Prints the data displayed in the workspace



Email

Allows to email the data to specified recipients

Clipboard

Cut

Allows you to remove an item in the workspace and copy it to the clipboard



Copy

Allows you to select an item in the workspace and copy it to the clipboard



Paste

Allows you to paste an item you copied into the workspace

Refresh

Refresh

Refreshes the result in the workspace
