In the Calculate Pre Post Expense Absorption panel, you can run a pre post expense absorption calculation for set rate distributions. You can use this panel to review the calculated amount of the class expense absorption per day before you post set rate distributions at the end of a non-distribution period. You can review this information in order to make the appropriate decision to either leave the non-distribution period as it is, or to adjust the non-distribution period so that the system spreads the absorption throughout a wider or shorter period.
The Calculate Pre Post Expense Absorption panel allows you to perform a reference query. When you use this panel, the system calculates the expense absorption amount and displays the results of the calculation, but no processing actually occurs. That is, the system does not perform processing for ledger postings and so on.
