In the Duplicate Existing Ledger Granularity Rule panel, you can create a new ledger granularity rule that includes all the ledger granularity rule details of an existing ledger granularity rule. The system copies the rule details for holding term granularity, PST rules, and security groupings and assign them to the new ledger granularity rule. It also associates the granularity pool associated with the existing rule with the new rule.
To duplicate an existing ledger granularity rule:
1. From any Eagle window, click the Eagle Navigator button to access the Eagle Navigator.
2. Enter Duplicate Existing Ledger Granularity Rule in the Start Search text box.
3. Click the Duplicate Existing Ledger Granularity Rule (Accounting Center) link to access the panel.
You see the Duplicate Existing Ledger Granularity Rule panel.
4. In the New Ledger Granularity Rule Name field, enter the name of the ledger granularity rule you want to add.
5. In the Existing Ledger Granularity Rule Name field, select the name of the ledger granularity rule with details you want to duplicate.
When you select the rule name, the Existing Ledger Granularity Rule field displays the instance number for that ledger granularity rule. The Existing Granularity Pool field displays the name of the granularity pool associated with the selected ledger granularity rule.
6. Click Submit.
7. Close the Duplicate Existing Ledger Granularity Rule bottom tab to return to the Accounting Center.
