You use Engine Manager when working with the following components:

  • When working with engines components, use Engine Manager to:
    • View available Engines, their online status, and parameters.
    • View merged events, merged query speeds, merged query speeds chart, and events statistics, available in future releases.
    • View data on Engine Host Server, including disk usage, free disk space, CPU use, CPU load and statistics, process table, and system log.
    • View STAR Engine configuration, bind, events, ledgers, and view all files, status, engine version, current engine snapshot, Estar engine system status, current engine Info, database alerts, loopback events, events taking more that 5 seconds, events history, processed events history, and merged events. Verify if core files are available or not; start, stop or restart the selected engine or EStarDB Conn, reload database bind rules, and find an event by specifying Message and Submessage.
    • View data on Data Base Manager System: SQLNET, User SQLNET, and Listener Logs, Alert Oracle SID, TNS Ping DBMS, PMON and DataServer Status.
  • All Web Servers components:
    • View available Web Servers, their online status, and parameters.
    • View and edit Web Services properties.
    • Add and delete Web Services.
    • View Web Server System Info, including system, IP, Internet control message protocol, TCP, and UDP statuses, event system and event application logs, and display network statistics.
    • Restart Internet Information Service and TpeServer; start TpeServer, Scheduler Service, Message Center, Load Balancer, Report Export Service, and Websync Services. Stop Scheduler Service, Message Center, Load Balancer, Report Export Service, and Websync Service. View Internet Information Service and TpeServer statuses.
    • View Eagle STAR configuration files, Message Center data files, modules files, modules configuration files, log files, and web logs by query.
  • PACE Servers components:
    • View available PACE Servers, their online status, and parameters.
    • View and edit PACE Server settings.
    • View PACE Server logs.
    • Load Balancer component:
    • View Load Balancer logs.
    • Carry out the following set of commands: Engines View, Syncsend Configurations, Syncsend Rules, Syncsend Timeout, Load Balancer Configuration, Load Balancer Cache Engines, and All Load Balancer.
