Check if GPG is Already Installed

If you have Cygwin (a suite of software that gives a Windows machine much of the functionality of a Linux machine) you may already have GPG installed

Execute the following command:

$ gpg --version

If there is a GPG version installed properly, you will get a similar output:

gpg (GnuPG) 2.0.14 libgcrypt 1.4.5 Copyright (C) 2009 Free Software Foundation, Inc.
