In the Change Prospective Rate panel, you can adjust a distribution rate that does not involve a general ledger adjustment. For example, you may want to split a period and calculate a blended rate based on a new target rate. To spread the change over the remaining period, you need a valid end date to calculate the number of days in the remaining period.
To change a prospective rate:
1. From Accounting Center window, click Transactions in the left navigation.
2. Double click Distributions, Fixed Fund Distributions, and Change Prospective Rate.
You see the Change Prospective Rate panel.
3. Complete the options in the Change Prospective Rate panel.
4. Click Submit.
5. Close the Change Prospective Rate bottom tab to return to the Accounting Center.
