The Performance Returns Table Query allows you to view performance returns based on the data stored in the SUMMARY and PERF_SEC_Returns tables in the PERFORM database in Eagle PACE. This query is useful if you use Eagle's performance measurement solution.

To view performance returns in Eagle PACE:

  1. In Accounting Center, in the left navigation pane, click Reports > System Queries > STAR to PACE Direct > Performance Returns Table Query.
    You see the Performance Returns Table Query panel.
  2. Complete the options on the Performance Returns Table Query panel.
  3. Under Result Options, in the Format area, click Grid or Advanced Report for the report view you want.
  4. In the Location area, click Show results after submit. Or, you can click Send results to Scheduler for optimum performance when submitting ad hoc reports that involve a significant amount of data.
  5. Click Submit.
    The report appears on your desktop for the view selected.

Performance Returns Table Query Panel Options

The following table lists the fields and field descriptions for the Performance Returns Table Query panel.

Optional Parameters


Source Name

Specifies the source.

Entity ID

Specifies the entity identifier for a portfolio, sector portfolio, composite portfolio, or Master Fund.

Entity Name

Specifies the entity by the name of the entity.

Entity Type

Displays the entity type.

Start Date

Specifies the start date for your query results.

End Date

Specifies the end date for your query results.

Issue Name

Specifies the issue name.

Issue Symbol

Specifies the issue symbol.

Primary Asset ID

Specifies the primary asset identifier.

Perform Flag

Indicates whether you are generating the preliminary or final report. Options include Preliminary and Final.

Perform Freq Code

Specifies the frequency for calculating performance. Options include:

  • Daily. Performance is calculated on a daily basis.
  • Monthly. Performance is calculated on a monthly basis.
  • Quarterly. Performance is calculated on a quarterly basis.
  • Yearly. Performance is calculated on a yearly basis.

Displays an event type value QRY_PERFORM_RETURNS.
