Portfolio Data Center enables you to apply principles of data governance to the entities you manage with Eagle. Using PDC, you can apply pre-emptive validations while maintaining entities, keeping bad data out of production workflows.

After you create an entity or submit a change request for an entity, the system validates it, and when applicable, generates exceptions and issues error messages, which prevents incorrect information from affecting production.

In addition, you can use exception management features to find and resolve errors. Additionally, optional four-eyes authorization provides checks and balances for your most important data.

Using PDC, you can create workflows as policies that the system applies to targeted groups of entities. Policies validate and cleanse entity reference data that your firm has received through an internal manual setup or from an external data file. To reduce implementation time and eliminate dependency on release cycles, Eagle bundles packaged content with the product, including the following types of content:

  • Error messages
  • Field groups
  • Policies
  • Validations
