Schedule Information | ||
Schedule Type | 1250 | Specifies the type of schedule you are adding. Options include:
|
Effective Date | 1109 | Specifies the effective date of the transaction. |
End Date | 73 | Specifies the end date of the specific schedule type. The field appears if you add a schedule for a coupon/reset schedule or a schedule for a PIK receivable mark to market. For a coupon/reset schedule, the End Date is the reset/payment date, or the contractual day when the payment is due, not including delay days, for the selected total return swap leg. If you change the end date for a schedule entry, you must also change the following entry's effective date. |
Price/Rate | 1249 | Specifies the price/rate. The field appears if you add a schedule for a call, put, refund, coupon/reset. |
Schedule Amount | 1669 | Specifies the amount for the schedule. The field appears if you add a schedule for a sink, PIK receivable mark to market, or custom sink. For a sink schedule, the Schedule Amount values must add up to 1.0, or 100%. For a custom sink schedule, the Schedule Amount values also must add up to 1.0, or 100%. However, if you set the Bypass Sink Check option to Yes for a custom sink schedule, the system does not require the Schedule Amount values or payments for the custom sink schedule to add up to 1.0, or 100%. For a PIK receivable mark to market schedule, a nonzero PIKMTM schedule amount is required to post URGL. When you enter the schedule for a coupon period, you can enter the amount as the coupon rate / frequency (that is, .05 / 2 = .025). |
Schedule Subtype | 3678 | Indicates the type of refund schedule. The field appears if you add a schedule type of Refund. Options include:
|
Announcement Date | 1247 | Identifies the announcement date for the refund schedule. The field appears if you add a schedule type of Refund. If you define an amortization rule with Recognize Prerefunded (tag 3860) set to Recognize Pre-refunded Date using Announcement Date, Eagle Accounting uses this date as the pre-refunding announcement date when it calculates amortization yield. |
Corporate Action Status | 54 | Indicates the status of the schedule. The field appears if you add a schedule for a sink or custom sink. Options include:
|
Bypass Sink Check | 17479 | Indicates whether the system bypasses the sink check, and ignores the restriction that requires the custom sink schedule entries to have Schedule Amount values for payments that total to a value of 1.0, or 100%. Schedule amounts for sink schedules must always total to a value of 1.0, or 100%. Options include:
|
Valuation Date | 16409 | Specifies the date that the system can select and use the underlying price in the calculation of return for the selected total return swap's equity/return leg. The field appears if you add a coupon/reset schedule for a swap leg with a processing security type (PST) of Swap Leg Total Rate Return on Equity (SWLXEQ). |
Fixing Date | 16410 | Specifies the date that the system can select and use the interest rate, that is, the floating rate, in the calculation of return for the selected total return swap's finance leg. The field appears if you add a coupon/reset schedule for a swap leg with a processing security type (PST) of Swap Leg Interest Accrual (SWLEAC). |
Cash Payment Date | 16411 | Specifies the expected date of the cash payment for the selected total return swap leg. The system calculates the cash payment date by adding any applicable delay days to the payment date, or End Date. The field appears if you add a coupon/reset schedule. |
Reset Date | 16408 | Specifies the date on which the system can update the notional value/price/interest rate based on change in market condition for the selected total return swap leg. If you select a swap leg with a processing security type (PST) of Swap Leg Total Rate Return on Equity (SWLXEQ), the End Date and the Reset Date must have the same date. The field appears if you add a coupon/reset schedule. |
Ex Interest Date | 3669 | Specifies the date that each coupon period begins to trade ex-interest to use for the corresponding effective date in the Ex Interest schedule. If you do not set up an Ex Interest schedule for the security, the system uses the security-level Ex-Interest Days field to identify the ex interest date. |
Change Schedules
In the Change Schedule panel, you can edit the schedule for a security. Any time you change information in the Schedule table, Eagle Accounting recalculates the amortization yield the next time you run earnings, using the new values. If a value has changed in the Schedule table for a prior coupon period, you should Rollback and Replay earnings, or run a Retrospective Amortization event. If you change a schedule record that you already processed, then you need to rerun the global panel/query.
