The Theoretical Distribution Yield report allows you to display theoretical yields calculated for a mutual fund. The theoretical yields are for informational purposes only and do not impact the NAV.

To calculate the theoretical yield on an ad hoc basis or a scheduled basis when you use net investment income (NII) distributions, you use the event associated with the Calculate Theoretical Distribution panel. You can calculate multiple daily yields and report them to clients. For more information, see Calculate Theoretical Distribution. The Theoretical Distribution Yield report allows you to report on the data generated when you run the Calculate Theoretical Distribution panel for a given entity, accounting date, and ledger accounts associated with an NII distribution rule.

To create the Theoretical Distribution Yield report:

  1. In Accounting Center, in the left navigation pane, click Reports Fund Accounting Reports > Mutual Fund - Distribution > Theoretical Distribution Yield Report.

You see the Theoretical Distribution Yield Report panel.
  2. Complete the options on the Theoretical Distribution Yield Report panel.
  3. Under Result Options, click Grid or Advanced Report for the report view you want.
  4. Click Submit.
The report appears on your desktop for the view selected.
