In Automation Center's Automation Desk area, you can manage the definition, scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting for the following processes:

  • Events. An event is a single process or a unit of work that may run by itself or as part of a job. Events are managed in the Events workspace.
  • Jobs. A job is a group of events or other jobs that may be run in sequential or parallel order. Jobs also provide decision making capabilities. Depending on the outcome of an individual events or a group of events, a job has an option to proceed differently upon success or failure. Jobs are managed in the Jobs workspace.
  • Message Streams. A message stream contains rules-based packaged instructions for extracting, transforming, and loading data from multiple file formats into and out of Eagle databases. Message Streams are managed in the Message Streams workspace.
