In Automation Center, you can import and export action rules to migrate them between different environments.

To import and export action action rules in Automation Center:

  1. To import the rules, click Import Action Rules on the toolbar of the Exceptions workspace.

  2. In the Import Rules Config dialog box, select the appropriate source option and the location of the import file. Click Next.

  3. In the Import Rules dialog box, check the box next to the rules you want to import.

  4. Click Import.
    You see that the rule you selected has been successfully imported.

  5. To export the rules, click Export Action Rules on the toolbar of the Exceptions workspace.
  6. In the Export Rules Config dialog box, click the Name browse button and create a .cfg file to receive the export. Click Next.

  7. In the Export Rules dialog box, check the boxes next to the categories of rules you want to export.

  8. Click Export.
    You see that the rules have been successfully exported to the .cfg file you created.
