System Setting Parameters

There are system settings that allow you to customize the gross return calculation. Each setting has a default value that can be altered during implementation to customize the manner in which the gross return is calculated.

To change a system setting:

  1. Edit the numeric value for the Sys Item you want to change.
    A dialog box appears for that variable.

  2. Change the value displayed in the Value cell.

  3. Click Save.

 It is strongly recommended that these settings NOT be changed once you are in production. Changing any of these settings alters the manner by which the return is calculated.

  • MFP Gross Performance Accrual Methodology (Sys Item 16)

  • MFP Gross Return Reinvestment (Sys Item 17)

  • MFP Gross Up Before Other Distributions (Sys Item 18)

  • MFP Tax Adjustments (Sys Item 20)

Each of these settings can be viewed or configured within the Performance System Parameters screen. See the following figure.


To access the performance system parameters:

  1. In the Performance Center, from the left navigation, select Setup > System Settings.
    You see the System Settings workspace.
