Define a Report Rule

To define a report rule:

  1. From any Eagle window, click the Eagle Navigator button to access the Eagle Navigator.
  2. Enter Reporting in the Start Search text box and click the General Reporting (Performance Center) link.
    You see the Performance Center with the General Reporting workspace.
  3. From the General Reporting workspace, click the Components tab.
  4. Expand the Report Rules folder, select Performance Analysis, and click Compose.
  5. Click Double click here to build your report.
    You see the Report Rule window. See Performance Calculation for a description of each option on the Report Rule window.
  6. Enter a name for the report by clicking Type Report Rule Name here.
  7. Click the New Field drop down list, expand the Custom folder, and click Global Attribution Group.
    You see the Field Selector dialog box with a list of group fields.
  8. Check the box of the group field and click Done.
    You see the fields you selected for the Global Attribution Group displayed in the report rule.
  9. Click Choose an existing Source Rule to specify a source rule.
    This option allows you to select an existing source rule for use in a new report. If you are using an existing source rule, you must add your fields first, and then choose the source rule.
  10. Click New Group to define the grouping rule.
    This option defines the grouping rule, which determines the segments on which to calculate returns.
  11. Click Save.
    You have created a performance analysis report rule.Â
