About Execution Logs

Execution logs provide information on models that were submitted on a scheduled or ad hoc basis. When the submission process is completed, you can view the execution logs at three levels:

  • Data Mart Manager engine level
Displays each submission of one or more models for a distinct effective date.

  • Model Manager engine level
    Displays an individual model submission.

  • Concentration engine level
Displays the OLAP process contents within the model.

To view the Execution Log for all Mart processes, click the Execution Log icon in the left panel of the Manage Mart or View Mart Data windows.
You see the Execution Log window.

The Execution Log window displays a list of submit processes via the Execution History tab. Each submit involves a single instance of the Data Mart Manager Engine. You can view the log of the Data Mart Manager Engine itself by moving the slide bar to the right and clicking the link under Log.

You can then drill down into a submit process to view execution log details at the Model Manager Engine level and Concentration Engine level. See About the Execution History Tab for detail.

Additionally, the Execution Log window allows you to refresh the execution log list, filter the execution log list, save the execution log files at all engine levels, and save files of report data generated during the OLAP processes. A description of each option in the Execution Log window follows.
