Manage Granularity Pools

A granularity pool determines the attribute groupings that are available for a ledger granularity rule that uses custom granularity. An attribute grouping is comprised of a set of attributes values for security types, market sector descriptions, or issue countries that require processing in the same manner for a ledger granularity rule. You can assign a granularity pool to multiple ledger granularity rules.

Add Granularity Pools and Attribute Groupings

In the Add a Granularity Pool/Attribute Grouping panel, you can add or update a granularity pool, can add or update attribute groupings for a granularity pool, and can add attribute values to attribute groupings. You can specify attribute values for security types, market sector descriptions, and issue countries.

To add a granularity pool/attribute grouping:

  1. From any Eagle window, click the Eagle Navigator button to access the Eagle Navigator.
  2. Enter Add Granularity Pool/Attribute Grouping in the Start Search text box.
  3. Click the Add Granularity Pool/Attribute Grouping (Accounting Center) link to access the panel.
You see the Add Granularity Pool/Attribute Grouping panel.
