The new Eagle centers, such as Reference Data Center and Reporting Center, include a strategic use of metadata in their architecture. To facilitate implementation, Eagle provides a standard set of packaged fields for your use.
These packaged fields are available and might suit needs for most centers, such as Reporting Center, and Reference Data Center. You also can create fields based on unique needs. If you create fields, Eagle recommends using the conventions described in this Best Practices Guide to maintain consistency.
