In Ledger Item Editor's My Transfers view, when you add a source range with start and end accounts for a ledger transfer profile, you can select an account interval. An account interval allows you to choose the consecutive accounts in the source range in the same window rather than choosing the start account and the end account in separate lists. Selecting an account interval also lets you view more detailed information about the individual ledger accounts you are choosing.
To select an account interval for a source range:
- In Ledger Item Editor's My Transfers view, add a source range.
You see a new row with blank values at the bottom of the right grid. - Choose the start and end accounts in the source range in one of two ways:
- On the Ledger Item Editor tab, in the Source Range group, click Select Account Interval to select a consecutive range of accounts in a separate window.
You see the Select Start and End Account window, which lists available accounts.
- Click the Start Account and End Account down arrows in the grid and choose each account separately. For details, see Add Source Ranges. - In the Select Start and End Account window, locate the start account to use in the source range. You can scroll down the list or can press CTRL+F to display the Find options if you want the system to highlight the account data you type and/or to advance the selected row to one with the text you entered.
- Click the row for the Start Account in the source range, and then press SHIFT.
- Click the row for the End Account in the source range.
The system highlights the rows for the range you selected. - If your selection is correct, click OK. Otherwise, select a different start and end account range.
You see the account numbers and descriptions you selected in the right grid's Start Account and End Account cells - Continue to add another source range, or to edit the ledger transfer profile.
