Miscellaneous

  • The use of the new categories and effects is optional

  • You can use any combination of effects in the same report

  • You can use the same effect more than once in the same report (for example if you want the same statistic for multiple performance periods)

  • The category and effect settings are supported by the migration wizard

  • The effects work in conjunction with the optional price type overrides (for example you can show the high/low Market Price instead of NAV)

  • The sum per share effect sums all the per share distribution types that are included in the field. It also ignores any distribution that has the 'include' option disabled. For example, if you create a new field, ALL distributions are included by default. Therefore if you use the sum per share effect, PACE displays the sum of ALL distributions for the entire period on the report.

  • Note that these fields use the core dynamic processing. Therefore PACE fetches all the daily NAV records for a performance period whether the field effect requires it or not. Be aware that processing time may vary depending on the amount of funds, fields (and the date range of those fields) in a report.
