Special fields in Reference Data Center

The Issuer field is considered a special field within the Reference Data Center. To select a value or overwrite data other than in the drop-down box, you must use the Select Issuers dialog to populate the field.

To update the issuer field using the Select Issuers dialog:

1. Right click on the Overwrite field.
   You see the Overwrite dialog.
2. In the New Value field, to select a value or overwrite data other than in the drop-down box, click the ellipses next to the drop-down.
   You see the Select Issuers dialog.
3. Enter an Issuer ID or enter part or all of the issuer name in the search box and  then click Search.
   You see the results of the search displayed in a new window
4. Select the issuer by checking on the corresponding check box. 
5. You can also check to Make this your default Search by clicking the corresponding checkbox.
6. Click Apply to close the window and then click Save.
