In the Reference Data Center Prices Summary window, you can view pricing data by:

  • Date Type
  • Source
  • View Data By

Date Type. The Date type field default to the effective date. This is the date on which the records will be viewed. You can also choose the Process date.

Source. The Source field defaults to All Sources. This displays all sources with data for the view that you have elected that the business group that you have access to.

View data by. This field defaults to vendor prices. This is the summary view of vendor price records. Additional views are vendor exceptions, gold prices, and gold exceptions.

View Data by Vendor Prices

In the prices summary window you can view vendor level records from the RULESDBO_PRICE.STATUS table. This is the table where gold copy prices are managed, scrubbed and displayed from. In the Summary view, you can also view vendor level records from the RULES_DBO.PRICE_RULESECURITIES table. This is the table where gold level prices are managed, scrubbed and displayed from. 

View Data by Vendor Prices 

To View data by Vendor Prices

  1. In the Reference Desk workspace,click Prices in the left navigation.
    You see the Prices workspace.
  2. In the View Data By Drop Down, select Vendor Prices.
  3. The Effective Date defaults to today's date. 
  4. Complete the search criteria and click the Search button.
  5. Click Search.
    All records matching your search criteria display.


  1. In the Reference Desk workspace, click Prices in the left navigation.
    You see the Prices workspace with all the available price records.
  2. Click the View Data By drop down and select Vendor Prices or Gold Copy prices from the drop-down list.
  3. From the Date drop-down list, select Effective Date or Process Date and then click on the Calendar icon and select a date.
  4. Select any additional search criteria and then click the Search button.
    You see a list of price records based on the criteria you selected.
  5. Click on the price record you want to view or edit.
    In the Details section of the workspace, you see the Exceptions and Vendor Data tab displayed.
  6. Click the tab you wish to edit.



View Vendor Exceptions

This view displays vendor exceptions from the RULESDBO.PRICE_VALIDATION_STATUS_DETAIL table.  This is the table where validation results and details are stored after validation tests are applied by a validation rule.  Once an exception record is highlighted by a customer the lower pane populates with the price records that this exception applies to.
