You can view, save, and email the PACE application server log files that contain information about Data Mart processes.

View the Server Logs

To view the application server log:

  1. In the Manage Mart window, click the Administration link and then click Server Log. Otherwise, in the Execution Log or View Mart Data window, click the Server Log link.
    You see the PACE Application Server Log dialog box.
  2. See the following figure, which displays information about the application server on which the Data Mart processes were executed.

  3. Click Refresh to view the most recent activity.
    This action refreshes the contents of the Application Server log.
  4. Click Close to close the dialog.

Download All of the Server Log

To download the entire server log to a file:

  1. Click Download Complete File on the PACE Application Server Log dialog box.
    You see the Save As dialog box.
  2. Navigate to the location in which you want to save the file, enter a file name, and click Save.
    The default type is a Text file, which you can change to another type.

Download Part of the Server Log

To download the current page of the server log to a file:

  1. Click Save Current Page on the PACE Application Server Log dialog box.
    You see the Save As dialog box.
  2. Navigate to the location in which you want to save the file, enter a file name, and click Save.
    The default type is a Text file, which you can change to another type.

Email the Server Log File

To e-mail the server log as a file attachment:

  1. Click Email the Log on the PACE Server Application Log dialog box.
    The default e-mail application for your system opens an e-mail dialog box and attaches the server log file to the e-mail automatically.
  2. Enter the e-mail address in the To field and click Send to e-mail the server log.
