Manage Code Translations

In the setup workspace you can create, edit, duplicate and delete code translations. For a specific code, you can view code translations from the Codes/Code Values Grid tab.

Create a New Code Translation

To create a new code translation:

1. In the Setup workspace, in the left navigation, click Codes.
   You see the Codes workspace with the list of available code translations. The code workspace includes four tabs with Code/Code Values opened by default.
2. Click the Code Translation tab and then click Create New.
   You see the Create New Code Translation window.
3. Under From, select a Code  and Source from the drop-down list(s) or by clicking on to use Advanced Search.
4. You see your selections display in the Translate Values box.
5. Under Translate Values, select a value to translate From>To and click Add Translation.
   You see the translation display in the Translation box.
6. To remove a translation, select it and then click Remove Translation.
7. To create a reverse translation, select the translation and then click Create Reverse Translation.
8. Click Save.
   You see the new code translation displayed in the list of code translations.

Edit a Code Translation

To edit a code translation:

1. In the Setup workspace, in the left navigation, click Codes.
   You see the Codes workspace with the list of available code translations.The code workspace includes four tabs with Code/Code Values opened by default.
2. Select the code translation you would like to edit and then click Edit.
   You see the Edit Code Translation window.
3. Update the fields following the steps outlined in Create a New Code Translation.
4. Click Save.
   You see the revised code translation displayed in the list of code translations.

Duplicate a Code Translation

To duplicate a code translation:

1. In the Setup workspace, in the left navigation, click Codes.
   You see the Codes workspace with the list of available code translations.The code workspace includes four tabs with Code/Code Values opened by default.
2. Select the code translation you would like to edit and then click Duplicate.
   You see the Duplicate Code Translation window.
3. Update the fields following the steps outlined in Create a New Code Translation.
4. Click Save.
   You see the duplicate code translation displayed in the list of code translations.

Delete a Code Translation

To delete a code translation:

1. In the Setup workspace, in the left navigation, click Codes.
   You see the Codes workspace with the list of available code translations.The code workspace includes four tabs with Code/Code Values opened by default.
2. Select the code translation you would like to edit and then click Delete.
   You see the Delete Code Transaction(s) window.
3. Confirm that you want the code deleted by clicking Ok.
   The code is deleted from the database.
