You can monitor various statuses for job and processing details in Automation Center without leaving Portfolio Data Center. The Monitor workspace displays the Automation Center workspace, enabling you to monitor the Event Types that match to Portfolio Data Center events. You can monitor jobs and event status for any job. The system displays the information in the following panes:

Jobs/Events StatusLists the jobs/events for Portfolio Data Center event types
List/Dependencies/SLADisplays the policies processed for the previous job or event selection
ExceptionsDisplays the exception details for the selected policy

To view the status of Portfolio Data Center events and jobs:

  1. In the Portfolio Desk workspace, click Monitor in the left navigation.
    The Monitor workspace opens, displaying status results filtered for Portfolio Data Center events.

    To change filter options, click the chevron on the right side of the workspace. For example, you can change the time stamp for selection of status records.

  2. In your search results, click Portfolio Data Center job that you want to view.
    PDC opens the bottom panes, displaying information for the events processed for this job.
  3. Click the List, Schedule, Dependencies, and SLA tabs to view the following information, respectively:
    --Job events
    --Stream messages
    --Job dependencies
    --Service-level agreement statuses
  4. To display the job details, in the left bottom pane, click the row that contains the job event type.
    The right bottom pane displays detailed information for the job you selected.
  5. Click the Run Details, Entities, Securities, and Job Status tabs to view additional details about the processed job.
    For example, in the Run Details tab, you can view the job effective date, actual start and stop times, queue ID information, and the submitting source.
  6. To display execution details for the processed RDC job or to open the Job Execution Details bottom tab, click .
