To add a monthly CPI index rate, use the Add Variable Rate panel.
When you add a rate for the CPI, enter the fields shown in the following table.

CPI Index Date. This value should be the day of the month that corresponds to the rate (for example, if updating the rate for CPI-U for May, the Effective Date should be 5/1). |
Variable Rate |
Rate of the Monthly CPI Index. |
Schedule Period Types |
Index reset frequency (optional and for reporting only) |
