Cancel Offset Bank Settlements

If you use the Cash Matching workspace to offset a bank settlement in error, you can cancel an offset bank settlement to make that bank settlement available for matching. After you cancel an offset bank settlement, you can view the bank settlement in the Manual Matching tab of the Cash Matching workspace, and that bank settlement is also available for automated matching.

  8. Select the check box for each row for offset bank settlement you want to cancel so that a check mark appears, and click Cancel Offset Records.
  9. In the Cancel Offset records tab, you see a row for each offset bank settlement you selected for cancellation. The fields describing the bank settlement are locked and are for informational purposes only. Notice that the Match Description field has a value of OFFSET.
  10. Click Submit to cancel the selected rows.
The offset bank settlements are now available for matching. During manual matching, you can view those bank settlements in the Manual Matching tab.
