Cancelling Impairments for Multiple Entities

In the Cancel Impairments – Multiple Entities panel, you can cancel an impairment processed for a multiple entities. If you entered an impairment incorrectly when you booked an impairment at the position level across multiple entities, you can use this option, rather than the Impairments panel, to cancel the transaction across all entities for which it was booked. You can cancel a position level impairment booked to all entities, entities in a partition, a group of entities, or entities in an entity list.
To cancel an impairment for a multiple entities:

1. From any Eagle window, click the Eagle Navigator button to access the Eagle Navigator.
2. Enter Cancel Impairments – Multiple Entities in the Start Search text box.
3. Click the Cancel Impairments – Multiple Entities (Accounting Center) link to access the panel.

You see the Cancel Impairments – Multiple Entities panel.

1. Complete the options on the Cancel Impairments – Multiple Entities panel.
2. Click Submit.

The system cancels the selected impairment and brings the amortized cost of all open lots affected by the impairment to the amortized cost prior to processing the impairment transaction.
