In the Add Ledger Granularity Rule panel, you can add a ledger granularity rule. You can name the rule and assign a granularity pool to the rule. After you create a rule, you can add ledger granularity rule details for the rule.
To add a ledger granularity rule:
1. From any Eagle window, click the Eagle Navigator button to access the Eagle Navigator.
2. Enter Add Ledger Granularity Rule in the Start Search text box.
3. Click the Add Ledger Granularity Rule (Accounting Center) link to access the panel.
You see the Add Ledger Granularity Rule panel.
4. In the Ledger Granularity Rule Name field, enter the name of the ledger granularity rule.
5. In the Granularity Pool field, select the name of the granularity pool to use for the ledger granularity rule.
You must specify a granularity pool if you plan to use the ledger granularity rule to break out accounts based on security type, market sector description, or issue country. See the Manage Granularity Pool section for more information.
NOTE: Once you create a ledger granularity rule, you cannot change the rule to identify a granularity pool at a later time.
6. Click Submit.
7. Close the Add Ledger Granularity Rule bottom tab to return to the Accounting Center.
