The Create New Security process was enhanced to allow you to be able to do Security Level authorization. A new field attribute named New Security Authorization was added to all core data strategies. This allows you to authorize at the security level when creating a new security when New Security Authorization is set as Yes and new securities have to be authorized prior to being released (achieves a complete release status). A security level authorization is a single, security level authorization and it is not tied to a specific field.

When this option is enabled, the system generates the following actions when creating a new security: A pending new security authorization is created and the security authorization status is set to pending authorization until approval.

The new security pending authorization can then be authorized by a different user after looking at the security details (like any current field level authorizations.)
