In the Calculate Monthly NAV panel, the system calculates a Month End NAV, based on Month End Total Net Assets and the Month End Shares outstanding. The system calculates the Month End Total Net Assets by taking the Total Net Assets from the Daily Period (where the Daily Period Date is equal to the Month End Period Date), and including any adjustments for as-of activity stored on the Monthly Ledger Balance table. This also includes any virtually allocated month end balances as well. The shares outstanding balance from the daily period is used to represent the shares outstanding balance for the month end.

To calculate a monthly NAV:

  1. In Accounting Center, in the left navigation pane, click Fund Accounting Valuation Month End Valuations > Calculate Monthly NAV.
You see the Calculate Monthly NAV panel.

  2. Under Entity Information, in the Entity ID or Entity Name fields, select the identifier or name of the entity for which you want to calculate the monthly NAV.

  3. Under Accounting Period, select the month end date to use in the Month End Date field.

  4. Click Submit.
