Fund of funds cash rules, also called fund of funds cash ledger rules, define the accounting basis and range of ledger accounts used that the system uses to retrieve the daily cash balance. This cash balance is the starting point of calculating the cash flow and final cash allocations. You can use only ledger accounts from the balance sheet–payables and receivables–to create the cash balance. After you create a fund of funds cash rule, you can assign that rule to a fund of funds allocation rule. You can then associate the fund of funds allocation rule with a master fund.

You can create, edit, and delete fund of funds cash ledger rules. You can also view the active fund of funds cash ledger rules or view a history of all the updates of the fund of funds cash ledger rule.
