The Dynamic NAV Returns report is supported in the commit journal. SeeĀ Performance Calculation. For convenience, a summary is provided.

The commit journal is a performance module that tracks all commit activity initiated by an OLAP report. It is a business analyst tool that can help to quickly identify issues. It provides a way to create filters to show specific funds, dates, performance models, and/or frequencies.

The commit journal also provides a mechanism by which returns can be finalized (for reporting) or disapproved (so that new results can be recommitted.)

Returns do not have to be finalized in order to be available for reporting. This only impacts reports that use Performance Analysis fields that are configured to only include finalized returns.

For more information on the commit journal, seeĀ Performance Calculation.

About Scrubbing

Unlike the Performance Calculation report, the Dynamic NAV Returns report does not allow you to change data from within the report result. This is by design in order to ensure that published NAV returns are not out of sync with the fund accounting data fed into the system. The anticipated workflow is to use the NAV Maintenance module to fix the errant fund accounting data first and then recalculate returns. The recalculation can be automatically triggered by the Process Manager.
