In the Metadata Manager, you can audit snapshot operations by viewing the snapshot history. History older than six (6) months will be purged automatically via a rule in the Eagle Purge & Archive tool. You can also export the snapshot history to various file formats.

To view and export snapshot history:

  1. From any Metadata Manager window, click Snapshot and select Snapshot History.
You see the Snapshot History window that displays the snapshot operations that have taken place, including the User Id, Date, and actions performed such as Export, Import, Collector Start, and Collector Finish.
  2. To export snapshot history, click Export.
  3. Select the appropriate export file type, Excel (Office Xml), Excel (CSV), or Text (TXT).
You see the exported file in the format you selected.
  4. Save the file as needed to the location of your choice.
