In the Adding Group Level Model window's Fields tab, you can add fields to a Group Model.

To add fields to a Group model:

  1. In Reporting Center, from the left navigation, select Reporting Tools > Datamart > Manage Marts > Data Mart.
You see the Data Mart workspace.
  2. Click the Add Group Level Model link.
You see the Adding Group Level Model window with the Definition tab enabled.
  3. Complete the fields on the Definition tab and click Next.
    You see the Grouping tab.
  4. Complete the fields on the Grouping tab and click Next.
    You see the Fields tab.
  5. On the Fields tab, click Add.
You see the Field Selector dialog box.
  6. Use Search option to search for a specific field.
As you enter text, the system automatically narrows the list to entries matching your input.
  7. Click Show All Fields to display valid and invalid fields.
Invalid fields have a red X in the Descriptor column. Choose this option when you want to determine why a field is not valid for the model. Data Mart displays the reason why the field is invalid.
  8. Click Show Valid Fields to display only valid fields for the model.
Select one or more fields by selecting the check boxes to the left of the Description column.
  9. The Details section displays details on the fields you select in the Field Selector dialog box.
  10. The Usage Column identifies fields already used in another Mart model.
A blue dot in the Usage column indicates that the field attribute is already used in a Mart model.
  11. Click Maintain Fields to display the standard PACE Field Attribution Selection dialog box, which allows you to add, edit, copy, view, delete, or determine the usage of any field attribute.
  12. Click OK.
You return to the Fields tab. The fields you selected appear in the Description column.
  13. In the Database Column Name, enter a database field name for each field.
A field that is used in another model already has a Database Column Name. If the name is grayed out, you cannot change the name.
  14. To remove a field, select the field you want to remove and click Remove.
  15. Click Next to display the Field Schedules tab.
  16. Complete the fields on the Fields Schedules tab and click Next.
  17. Follow the prompts to complete the required configuration to save the Group Model. See Create Group Models for more details.
